“I don’t think the Dark Brotherhood is inherently “bad” or “evil” as some people say. If anything, the client would be the one considered ” morally at fault” because of actually wanting a murder on someone by choosing to contact the assassins. The Dark Brotherhood isn’t exactly altruistic either, but they’re just doing their job.”

DB REPRESENT!

 love the DB

I personally think that the Dark Brotherhood is evil. They worship Sithis, a being appeased by death, suffering and strife, and many members relish in their kills, if not all of them. They enjoy their work. That’s not “just doing their job”. They love it. This is what they live for now. They eagerly await their next contract to carry out, you can tell just from the way they talk about their kills.
Every member of the Dark Brotherhood is a murderous, bloodthirsty monster. In Oblivion, the method of recruitment requires you to kill an innocent before they find you and give you a task to join!
If the Dark Brotherhood isn’t inherently evil, then I don’t know quite what is.
But all that being said, don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the Dark Brotherhood. Sometimes you will find no funner quests than when you are in their ranks. It really gets you thinking creatively on how to kill someone, especially without being seen.
But let’s be real. You don’t have to justify the Dark Brotherhood or paint them to sound more neutral than evil just because you love them. Just embrace them for what they are.
Without a doubt, Tamriel would likely be a better place without them. But since they are there, just enjoy running with them, enjoy who they are, but don’t be in denial about it.

creys because my DB assassin doesn’t enjoy his work and isn’t a bloodthirsty monster and just does it for his family cryes
